The pursuit of biblical knowledge should never be feared, for there is no bottom to the depth of understanding one can achieve from the Word of God. However, you must harbor a profound fear—not of knowing too much—but of doing too little with the knowledge you possess.
It was the Pharisees who knew the most in Christ’s day, but they rejected the very God they claimed to know and follow. They did not apply their knowledge to the world around them. When you apply the teachings of Scripture to your life, you not only honor God but also build your house upon the rock of Christ.
"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock."
– Matthew 7:24
