If you neglect spending time alone with God, your ability to impact others for His kingdom will be severely limited. The strength, wisdom, and compassion you need to serve others comes from those quiet moments of prayer and reflection in His presence. Itβs in that secluded place, away from distractions, where God shapes your heart and fills you with His power. Without this, your efforts to help others will be shallow, driven by your own strength instead of the strength God provides.
Do not underestimate the importance of personal communion with God. Your ministry to others is only as strong as your private devotion. If you want to be effective in helping those around you, first prioritize time alone with your Creator. It is from this secret place that God equips you to truly serve, love, and impact the souls you encounter.
"But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you."
β Matthew 6:6
